Celebrate with the Texas State University Alumni Association and fellow fans for a Welcome Reception the night before, Bobcat Bash Tailgate before the game, and our Post-Game Celebrations.
Let’s take over Fort Worth and bring on the Bobcat Pride!
As a token of our appreciation for those in the Bobcat community that have served, armed forces personnel and veterans that attend our Welcome Celebration or Bobcat Bash Tailgate will receive a SWT or TXST challenge coin upon request with a military ID (while supplies last).

Enjoy a relaxed evening featuring a heavy appetizer buffet, two hosted drinks for adults, soft drinks for kids, and family-friendly Bowl-week energy. A private hospitality space will offer plenty of spirit swag, branded photo moments, and casual social time with alumni, families, and friends. This is a come-and-go event perfect for reconnecting, building excitement, and celebrating a major moment for Texas State in the Stockyards.

Start game day at Bobcat Bash, featuring a grab-and-go breakfast, photo stations, spirit giveaways, and a festive hospitality tent with access to a cash bar. It’s a celebratory, family-friendly space to meet fellow Bobcats, enjoy the morning atmosphere, and get game-ready before heading to the stadium.
Bobcat Bash will be located directly beside the official fan fest Tailgate Outpost, making it easy for guests to move between both areas and enjoy all the Bowl Day festivities.

After the game, alumni and friends are invited to continue the celebration at one of several Bobcat-friendly gathering spots across Fort Worth. These casual meet-ups are come-as-you-are, open to all, and perfect for post-game storytelling, food, drinks, and reconnecting with fellow Bobcats and families.
Each location offers a slightly different personality, from outdoor patios to lively social scenes to relaxed sit-down conversation, so guests can choose the style that feels right for their celebration. Staff from Athletics and Alumni Engagement will wrap up stadium responsibilities and join as able, but there’s no need to wait — the fun starts wherever Bobcats gather.
TXST Staff Council is hosting a charter bus service to the bowl game in Fort Worth, TX providing roundtrip transportation from San Marcos/Round Rock!
