
Tyler Sibley, ’12, ‘13, is a former Bobcat Baseball standout turned rising star in real estate investment and development. After graduating summa cum laude with his BBA in accounting and cum laude with his master’s in accountancy, he began his career as Director of Baseball Operations for Texas State Baseball before launching into real estate. He quickly rose through the ranks at Casey Development before joining San Antonio based Kairoi Residential, where he now leads the company as a Principal. Recognized by multiple Business Journals with “40 Under 40” nominations, he is also founder of San Marcos based Pursuant Capital Ventures and Pursuant Ventures Development, expanding his influence as an entrepreneur and investor in real estate assets and operating company ventures nationwide.
While excelling professionally, Tyler has remained deeply dedicated to Texas State and its student-athletes. As a four-year letterman, three-year captain, Academic All-American, and Athletic All-American, he helped lead the Bobcats to the winningest stretch in program history, including three conference championships and two NCAA regional appearances. Drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in 2011, Tyler still holds eight career records including hits (282), total bases (407) and runs scored (219) and was inducted into the Texas State Hall of Honor in 2023. After his career ended, his passion for the game carried into his philanthropy. In 2016he established the Tyler M. Sibley Endowed Scholarship in Student-Athlete Excellence and, at just 32 years old, became the youngest member of the Texas State Heroes, a distinguished group of individuals, companies and foundations that have donated $1 million or more to Texas State University. A past President and current board member of the T Association, he exemplifies the commitment, leadership, and generosity that make Texas State’s Rising Stars shine.
