The Student Alumni Council connects Texas State students with the Alumni Association through philanthropy, engagement, and leadership development. It helps students find ways to support the university, prepares them to serve as future alumni leaders, and assists with key events like Step Up For State and Ring Celebration while supporting the Alumni Association’s initiatives.
Join the Student Alumni Council
Student Alumni Council members are enthusiastic and dedicated students who love Texas State, are interested in making the most of their Texas State experience while building their leadership and professional skills and are committed to strengthening the Bobcat community.
Undergraduate students from all majors and backgrounds are encouraged to apply to become members of the Student Alumni Council. Membership requirements include:
- Full-time enrollment as a current undergraduate students during Fall 2025 – Spring 2026
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- Good academic and disciplinary standing with the university
