Student Alumni Council (SAC) members will engage the Bobcat community in the following key areas. Philanthropy: SAC members support philanthropic efforts of the Alumni Association and the University while also giving back to the Bobcat community as an organization. Student Engagement and Outreach: SAC members engage in a variety of opportunities to interact with fellow Bobcats to increase their awareness of initiatives sponsored by the Alumni Association and University Advancement. Peer to Peer Fundraising: SAC members are enthusiastic to support fundraising opportunities that aide their fellow Bobcats. Example: Step Up for State Bobcat Pride: SAC members who demonstrate their pride have a general knowledge of the traditions and history of Texas State and are eager to share theirTexas State story. Networking Opportunities: SAC members welcome the opportunity to get to know their fellow Bobcats, both current students, and alumni. Leadership Development: SAC Members continue their own personal development with opportunities to increase their leadership capabilities and help to support the education of others.
